Thanks to the site Obakemono, a guide to the fanastic monsters of Japan, a page exists with some English translations of some Shigeru Mizuki comics as well as a guide to his work and further resources. Shigeru Mizuki’s comics reveal a fantastic world of creatures, ghosts and mysterious beings, and the designs of his characters are appealing and humorous.
