Cartoonist Nick Cross has debuted his latest film “The Waif of Persephone” in a few film festivals so far, and will continue to show it in the festival circuit through next year. He is planning on a DVD release for the cartoon as well, but until then he has posted a sneak peak of the beginning of the cartoon on his production blog. Old cartoon fans will notice a specific tribute to a Silly Symphony cartoon amongst the many general references to old classics. Nick’s style and direction however are thoroughly his own.
