Buckminster Fuller was an “inventor, architect, engineer, mathematician, poet and cosmologist was one of the most enlightened mystics of the last century”. This is just one possible description of Bucky, taken from the essay by Asha Deliverance located on the Buckminster Fuller Institute’s web page. They have a great collection of everything Fuller, from his patents to photos of his dome homes and more. They have links to other massive resources like the free access to 380 hours of audio/ video of Fuller provided by Stanford online. Buckminster Fuller’s ideas and ideals still are just as brilliant now as they ever were, especially in regards to the problems he saw for the future that aren’t going to just go away by themselves, like poor distribution of natural resources and massive global poverty. Bucky’s ideas focused on humanity as a whole, and his regard was for the well being of every passenger on “this spaceship Earth”.
