This is the coolest website I’ve found recently. Huge archive of boardgame images and information. You can search games based on the designer!!! The imdb.com of boardgames.

You can also play the great strategy game Tigris & Euphrates there. The game is turn-based and notifies the next player via email. Sadly, the instructions aren’t very good so you either have to learn with the real world game or sorta learn by trial and error.

I had that game Heroquest, and man, that was fun as crap. I loved that shit. BUT… there was this one “quest” where they make you think you’re gonna make off with all this gold, a HUGE amount, like winning the lottery, and the whole time you’re fantasizing all the badass equipment you’re gonna buy with it as you make your escape. And then at the end you find out it was fools gold and you get squat. Fuck that.
