Some important news for your life is that Check it Out with Dr. Steve Brule is coming to your cable box May 16th at 12:30am on Adult Swim. I just saw a huge Dr. Brule mural painted on Allen Street in the LES yesterday as I walked down to the Chinatown bus and I was enthusiastic about it.

Meathaus at MoCCA

Meathaus is at the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art’s annual art fest tomorrow, Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th in NYC. All the details are here.

Manning the table will be Farel Dalrymple, Chris McD, Celia Bullwinkel, Jay Sacher, and Amid Amidi with more Meathaus associates surely to be milling around the table in unpredictable clusters and/or exhibiting elsewhere at their own tables or publisher’s tables. InĂ©s Estrada, Michaela Zacchilli, Dash Shaw and Becky Cloonan are all listed to be somewhere in the room doing something awesome, for example. Our table is A11, along one of the walls, between NYU and Buenaventura Press. C U there.

Letter to Meathaus: Minotauro

Dennis Pomales sent over a translucent envelope decorated with a spooky figure and stuffed with paper cranes, an illuminated polaroid, a zine and a note. Note reads:

“Hello, I hope you enjoy this copy of my zine The Heart Cave as well as the random assortment of fun. Thanks!”
