Jeff’s show is one of three that the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society is doing tonight. All three are 6-9 PM. One is a robot show at Brave New Worlds in Old City and the other is a skate deck show at Exit in Northern Liberties. See all the info on this post.

Letter to Meathaus: Zach Hazard

Zach Hazard Vaupen sent over this comics zine called Hatred for a Human Host vol 666 with solid gold silkscreen covers and comics inside featuring the continuing story of Anarchy Eyes and some satanic rituals and the face-skin of a princess using the body of some guy with possibly white-man-dreadlocks as a host for her consciousness. Zach writes:

“Hey! I love Meathaus + the blog so I thought I’d send over my zine. Keep shit going.”

Thanks Zach! See more Zach Hazard art here on his Flickr, blog, and check this interview Gazin did with him on Vice for more.

Christine Hale Art

So Christine Hale has a heck of a lot of blogs and websites to place her cool drawings and dogs. First you can scroll through a portfolio of art here, then move onto the blog, then look at the dog blog, then arrive at the gag comics blog, then look through the Flickr, then listen to her jamz on Myspace, or maybe set up the music player then go look at the art for total immersion. Via Lezinfo, who links her up to another of her sites, her Gigposters area.

Also above is a tiny shot of the French edition of King City‘s jacket.
