Inés Estrada sent the latest issue of Gang Bang Bong up from Mexico City, which is co-edited by Ginette Lapalme. They’ve put together a book full of spastic energy, quick hits, marks on paper, fun-to-read-fun-to-look-at comics, a really nice job that recalls black and white anthologies worth reading of the past such as Fantagraphics’s Zero Zero. That garbled sentence seems to work for me describing this book, maybe you can decipher a useful meaning. Better still, go to their website and get a copy. A few panels/drawings/images for a taste above include the cover by Ginette and art by Aisha Franz, J.C. the 54th and Michael DeForge. Gang Bang Bong previously mentioned here.

Stefan Glerum has some illustration work in his portfolio for you to look at.

Gabby Schulz has been posting a comic about excruciating diarrhea, and more! The drawing is fantastic and the story lulls you into feeling as if you too are slowly dying in bed next to Gabby, in a good way. Wait until you get to the manifestation of pain and horror as a non-sensical face, undulating and hovering above your head and staring down at you. It is terrifying if you are engaged with the comic just right. Gabby put parts 1-6 in large scrolling format here for your reading ease. Gabby previously posted about here and here.
Esao uploaded a new time-lapse video of him working on his latest painting, “Spring Hare”, and he has a second time-lapse painting video as well. Both are embedded above. He’s got a print of the hare available here, and blogs about it all over here.

Raymond Lemstra writes Meathaus with news that not only does he have new work for viewing on his website, but he also recently contributed a drawing to nalden.net that you can download as a desktop image. Also his work is over here where you can see collaborations Raymond made with artist friends for a show. Previously mentioned here.

Speaking of zines, check out Needles and Pens which is where I picked up the Matt Furie/Sam Gaskin collab zine, Hot Topic and Mark Todd mini zines with mini dice included.

Patrick “Makkinoso” Aleotti (previously mentioned here), sent over from Modena, Italy some little creature stickers and his latest zine, Creatures, with the note:
“Hi, Meathaus!!! This is my new zine glad you like it all the best – Makkinoso”
Which correctly presumes my enjoyment of this booklet, thanks Patrick! Patrick is a real zine enthusiast himself, publishing the ZINE HUNTER blog. See more Makkinoso here and here.

Penelope Gazin (previously mentioned here), editor of Ding Dong, sent over the first issue of this full-color 38 page comics zine and noted that she has a Flickr page up here and you can purchase your own copy of the zine here. Above is the cover art by Penelope, and comics example pages by Emily Brundige, Penelope and Sarah Heysel. Thanks Penelope! Oh yeah, and by the way you owe the post office 40¢:

John-Paul Kim sent Meathaus a decorated envelope with Ketchup Stain, his sketchbook comics zine and small and large sized copies of his Cacophony comics—large version is “for old people” he writes. I blanked out the Meathaus mailing address even though it clearly is available elsewhere on this site, I can only explain this away with sleep deprivation. It looks like you could find more John-Paul comics at whurf.com and jp-kim.com, and you can get both of the above comics as PDFs over here, so checkitout, and thanks John-Paul.

Dave White from Kaunas, Lithuania sent Meathaus over a mini envelope with some mini comics inside, JUODA JOUDOS ME RGAITĖS RANKA and Mr. Peizanźas and a button with a little guy on it. Thanks Dave! For more drawings and comics from Dave, see biezdielnik.
