Be Friends With Sasquatch

Be Friends With Sasquatch

No, I’m not asking you to “friend” my fictional character as a marketing ploy so I can spam you. I’m giving you a hot tip instead. Yes I’m still trying to get you to buy my book, Sasquatch’s Big Hairy Drawing Book for all your people, as a gift, time-waster, stocking-stuffer, menorah-stuffer, whatevs. But I’m being up front about it. No games. Buy my product. Remember, I am also the author of the seminal business zine, Business Up Front, essential business reading. And that’s how I live my life, man. Got to have a credo. The party is always in the back on the party deck.

Oh yeah… the hot tip. I was going to tell you that today is the last day to use that SASQUATCH coupon code on Chronicle Books to get Sasquatch 20% off + free shipping to USA orders that I mentioned earlier. But then I saw they had a better coupon code that also expires today. Shoot. Well I’m going to tell you about that one, if you use the code FRIENDS on Chronicle Books to buy Sasquatch today, you get 35% off + free shipping and the thing comes out to only $8.42. Yikes!

Above you can see the back cover of the book and Chronicle art director Michael Morris about to be devoured by the man-eating Sasquatch.

Letter to Meathaus: Shayna Yates

Letter to Meathaus: Shayna Yates

Shayna Yates sent over an envelope with a grumpy gnome-bug with a drippy ice cream cone drawn on the front and a stash of mini comics and a letter inside that reads:

“Dear Meathaus.com, I’ve always thought you were cute. Back when Fareldalrymple.com introduced me to you, I was instantly aflutter. I knew I’d admire you from afar for years to come, until I finally worked up the nerve to write to you personally. You probably haven’t seen me around before. I’m kind of a wallflower. My name is Unordinary.org. I don’t smell that great, but I show off my tits pretty often. Here is a picture of me:

Do you like me? ❏ yes ❏ no

I hope you do, Meathaus.com, because I think you are one of the nicer websites around. XOXO, Unordinary.org

Thanks Shayna for all the mini comics including The Elusive Tit-Fish and Circus of Love, my favorites, and all the other unexpected things you drew tits on too.

Letter to Meathaus: Brad Pierce

Letter to Meathaus: Brad Pierce

Brad Pierce sent over this package with a farting demon on it to Meathaus and if there was a letter in there I lost it. But there were these comic zines like Gut Sack: Rock City about demon bands exploding people’s heads with satanic music and an art school zine collaboration by the Hierarchical Undergraduate Graduate Exclusive Collective Of Conceptual Knowledge Seekers, which sounds like a terrific group of fine people. Thanks for the zines, Brad. Here’s Brad, Anna, Sage.
