Haha! Michaela Zacchilli sent over the latest issue of RAV (#5) which reminded me that it was the last issue‘s exciting multi-colored Risograph-printed design and drawing that prompted me to search out and deposit two broken down digital duplicator machines in my basement. They don’t really work, but I did get a good story out of buying one of them from this gas station manager who lived out near a nuclear power plant and brandished a butcher knife for two minutes while explaining the features to my dad and me before I placed the cash on the bed like some kind of dirty deal and we struggled down the stairs with a 300 pound machine from 1992. One wrong move and my dad was a pancake on some filthy cat shit stained stairs under a broken zine machine. We didn’t die so it was totally worth it. Thanks Mickey for the inspiration and the latest issue of RAV.
