The ESA/Hubble spacetelescope.org website has photos of deep space that are free to use for any creative project provided you include attribution in the proper format. You can download the 4GB “top 100″ images zip like I did and get right into the photos of globby space blobs and gigantic piercing space eyes watching your every move on your pathetically insignificant home planet. This is great, secrets and female secrets make for great stories and I should make a special note to readers that this 162 page full color comic book sells for $12 with free shipping to USA mainland, and there are many more issues too. This particular issue has familiar names to Meathaus readers including Inés Estrada, Angie Wang, Mickey Zacchilli, Kris Mukai, and more international artists that are worth exploring, check out the list with website links here.
“Periwinkle Around the World” created by Aaron Springer has surfaced online, check it out! Via Cartoon Brew, click over there for some more details about its production history and such. Screen grabbed that last grab just to illustrate that even Aaron Springer background crowd shots are funny.
The Star Gods sent Meathaus a package from far Vancouver with two fantastical zines, Binaries and Mid-night Tongue and a note:

Thanks letter writing pals! These zines are finely created and their evidently extensive efforts deserve contemplation with a stiff drink besides a radiating winter fire.
Morgan Young and Daniel Giantomaso individually are Primitive Feathers and Star Gods and as a collaboration are White Swallows, an artistic team creating exacting ink drawings in a stark black and white 1980s-art-deco-revival-revival in a deviant robotic sex club in the year 2080 kind of way. They are responsible for the existence of Mid-night Tongue.
Nathan Jones is Witchpit, and is half of the collaborative team behind the invertible reversible zine full of monstrous creatures, Binaries, also co-created by Star Gods.

Got a Luftpost package from Stuttgart from Marcel Mendler and Patrick Oltean which had this comic book Laserboys Vs. Lord Fleyschzahn: An Epic Tale of Hope and Loss with a CD which I’m listening to now by the Laserboys which so far has some drum loops, metal guitar, and the low monster voice metal guy and the high voice metal guy combo which always works well and now some synth dance beats oh wait now back to metal riffs and a letter:
