Meathaus at MoCCA this weekend!

At MoCCA art fest, we will have the new Meathaus book “S.O.S.”, a fine assortment of Meathaus back issues, as well as my new book “Krachmacher 4” and some other stuff. Dash Shaw (promoting his epic “Bottomless bellybutton”), and Chris McDonnell (Co-author of a new retrospective book on the art of Ralph Bakshi ) will also be in attendance promoting their new books.

Meathaus at the New York Comic Con

At the NY Comic Con, we will have the new Meathaus book “S.O.S.”, a fine assortment of Meathaus back issues, as well as my new book “Krachmacher 4” and some other stuff. Dash Shaw (promoting his epic “Bottomless bellybutton” will be hanging with Fantagraphics), Chris McDonnell (Editor in chief of a new retrospective book on the art of Ralph Bakshi ), and Farel Dalrymple (“Omega The Unknown”) will also be in attendance promoting their new books.

Due to a mixup in the paperwork, there is no “meathaus” table listed in directories at this weekend’s New York Comic Con. They put my name on it instead because I filled out the forms. The table is listed as “James Campbell” Sorry about that. I know it looks bad.

Angry Jim’s T.R. comic in syncopated Volume 3

Brendan Burford’s Syncopated Comics #3 is out now. I have a 12 page story in it about Theodore Roosevelt in the Badlands of old Dakota. It also feratures some great pieces by the likes of Dave Kiersh, Nick Bertozi, Tom Devlin, Susie Cagle, Rina Piccolo, and Brendan himself! I think this is the most well written and most beautifully designed book that Brendan had put together to date. And Im not just saying that because I’m in it.

Get Syncopated 3 now from Bodega Distribution

A slightly related random flash cartoon I made

Mu and I made this St. Patricks game for Gem Studio. A now defunct storyboard house we worked at with Tom Herpich a couple years ago. -Jim
