These hand-cut paper sculptures Jen Stark makes appear as if cut by the precision laser vision of industrial robots. Also this animation above is a modern paper animation classic, as they say in the biz. Previously mentioned here.

Look at these installations of chaos on the SONTON webpage. Many of the images are bigger than embedded in the webpage, so viewing the image itself gets tighter views.

Andy Ainger has been making these guys and perhaps wearing some of them and photographing them on these colorful backdrops for an appealing result. He also makes cut paper characters and designs.

P. Williams was in a few Meathaus books a while back including GO FOR THE GOLD! 2 (available again in the store). Since then he wrote us to tip us off to the fact that he’s been building huge cities and then stomping on them, amongst other things. The smoke is a nice effect.

I always tell students that they must sketch their ideas out before they jump onto the computer and begin farting around without direction. In artist Adam Batchelor’s case he of course already knows that and draws out his idea about the really big whale burger with the works before he sculpts it out of Super Sculpey. He also makes doughnuts and phallic dog worms to put through the doughnut holes over here.

Edit: And to clarify this post, Adam is not a student of mine, he is a student of life.

J.R. García and Everardo Felipe are Niña Tonta (or is the art?). Either way they sent over photos of these weird little dudes they sculpted. You can see more here.
