Matt “Crav” Craven wrote Meathaus years ago as an undergraduate illustration student in the U.K. seeking a portfolio review, and possibly a post, and apparently I asked him to check back in a few years after his work developed some more. That must have been back when I was making an attempt to respond to every email we got (I can’t do it any more, but I do read everything). I can only assume that I was honestly encouraging him to check back because I did see the promise in the work that a few more years would refine… not some cowardly attempt to defray dealing with someone directly whose work that I didn’t like. OK, so we’ll go with it being encouraging and honest as opposed to D-Baggy. So here we are three years later and Matt writes back, saying OK, here’s the latest. And it works out all around, I’m really grabbed by this new work. You’ve got to go on Matt’s website and blog to see more. I wonder what the work looked like three years ago? Thanks for writing again, Matt.
