Brandon Graham is thinking about posting new chapters from his book King City 2 on his blog and he’s already posted the first chapter to show you he means business. Above is a preview image from one of his other comics, Multiple Warheadz. Then there is Chris McD’s page of comics he did for Meathaus S.O.S., Meathaus 8: Headgames and Meathaus 7: Lovesongs. Don’t forget Dash Shaw’s ongoing Bodyworld. And then there is Matt Furie’s Boy’s Club comics free to read on his Myspace blog. There’s Jesse Moynihan’s free older comics here and even more and newer ones here.
Oh yeah and don’t forget about the recent Meathaus Week on NY Mag’s Vulture column. Read full comics from Meathaus S.O.S. by Farel Dalrymple, Zohar Lazar, and Jim Rugg / Brian Maruca.
Plus Brandon says all the Turtles and Elves he grew up on are all free and online now too.
Matt Furie has updated his site with lots of new artwork. He is in the new Meathaus book, SOS too.
Yeah we still have even more awesome stories in the upcoming issue of Meathaus, “SOS”. These preview panels are from Matt Furie’s pages.
Los Angeles area (Burbank), April 16th, 5:30 pm Cartoon Network lobby, pizza. Matt Furie (previously noted here and here) is having a solo show of new and awesome work.
Fecalface invites you into Matt Furie’s bedroom for an interview with Matt, whose new book “Boy’s Club” is being published by Teenage Dinosaur (who also published Dash Shaw’s book Goddess Head recently). Boy’s Club is available to preview on Matt’s myspace blog. Also check out Matt’s website and complementary desktop wallpaper.
Oh yeah, A.P.E. was great fun, should do a quick post about that later too. Meathaus was situated with the back of our table facing the back of another table that I couldn’t help eyeballing all morning. There seemed to be some fun time art on the table and the boombox they had played the most enticing jams. Later, when I got a chance I ran over to buy as many zines as I could. They are all awesome. And here is where to go to get your own zines and art from the dude who was there, Matt Furie. Pictured here is some of his work.
