Max Temescu sent Meathaus some postcards and a comic book that he adapted from a Michael Swanwick story called The Very Pulse of the Machine and a letter that reads:
I was just reading through an old anthology you put out and I realized I’d never sent you anything. So here is some stuff I’ve made this past year. Thanks for letting me know about other cool art and comics.
For sure, Max. And thanks for the book. This comic is about this lady who survives a rover crash on another planet while her co-pilot does not. She has to try to get back to the lander before her oxygen runs out but still decides to try to drag the corpse back out of respect for her friend. Then there are voices and some supernatural stuff happens that builds to a freaky end and there are these semi-transparent sheets in the book that are integrated into the storytelling. Very custom job. Check out more Temescu on Temescuart
