Ron Hotz sent Meathaus a hybrid sketch/drawing and comics zine and a letter from Toronto:
“I hope you like this book. Yup, That’s about all I got to say. Love, Ron Hotz”
And then a second copy and another letter after we took too long to post the first:
“Where the hell is out Meathaus submission?! Love you guys, Ron”
Thanks Ron! I’ve got your Meathaus submission right here. Check it out: the book that Ron produced is sort of a scrap book of weird medical office paraphernalia, receipts, sticky notes and cork board photos with a narrative through line of Ron’s teenaged characters with cool hair who are trying to get home. I’m thinking these are the same characters in Ron’s online comics Best Day Evr! that he would also like to share with you, here. Also above are a few images Ron included in an initial email when I told him to send a letter in the real mail as sure-fire way to get on the Meathaus which is also why Ron had certain expectations of us posting said-submission. Little did Ron know, it can take an ass-long time to get around to. But here we are today, alive in this moment, sharing this digi-connection. Rejoice, internet. Life without art would be a cruel slog through a brutal meat-scape of unending horror.
