Listed simply as the “Enderby” and “Spook Rock” sections on Zohar’s website, look inside for the most intense, fully-realized scenarios of cartoon despair lovingly painted in ink and color washes. You gotta click over to see them all because I had to resist just posting them all. More on Zohar’s blog. More previous Zohar on the Zohar tag.
Just have to link back up to Zohar’s blog every once in a while to highlight these drawings that he is making that are deeply pleasurable to look at and think about and enjoy the quality craftsmanship of.
I especially am digging these Zohar Lazar ink wash drawings from his blog, and there are more there and on his website. There are six some pages of new paintings and things on his blog since last posted already. Also as previously noted, Zohar’s Meathaus S.O.S. story “Empire Service” is on the blog.
Check out these sneak peek panels from Zohar Lazar for the new issue of Meathaus “SOS”.
Check out the work of illustrator Zohar Lazar. He works in several styles that range from traditional to digital painting and some of his strongest work often seems to be cartoon related. Besides having the coolest name ever, he also seems to be getting lots of high profile clients. It would be cool to see a whole gallery of personal work from Zohar, it is not clear whether that is mixed in with the others or not, or if the site is strictly commercial work.
